It has been quite a week at the CCDS studio! We've secured Better Shipping Rates AND we've been unboxing and testing our Final Production Samples!

It's 8 Months later almost to the day since we reluctantly pressed the 'Launch' button (rather anticlimactically) that would send our lives into a whirl and eventually lead us to you; our amazing backers. With 40,000+ orders successfully delivered we can finally see the finishing line!
In the last 8 months we've had to travel to China 3 times, set up a Nimuno Loops manufacturing chain capable of producing the 550,000 Rolls we needed for fulfillment (within just 90 days); and last but not least, set up and manage a distribution system which would be able to ship 40,000+ parcels to 135 countries in the most time efficient way possible.
We'll be the first to admit that it hasn't always been smooth sailing! We've made many mistakes along the way which often resulted in confused, disappointed, and fed-up backers. Although we tried our darnedest to provide the best backer experience possible there is unfortunately no defense against the unforeseen curve-balls life throws at you. Color mix-ups, unable to deliver, returned to sender, and lost parcels are all examples of complications we never considered when we launched but is the inevitable result of a campaign that involves so many logistical factors.
With only a handful of 'problem orders' still en-route and currently processing for reshipment we've come back to where it all started to Thank You!
You form part of a community of people who are willing to gamble on an idea, support strangers, and enable them to bring a product to life and have it delivered to your door! This is not an easy task and we hope that, despite the mistakes we have made, you continue to enable the crazy inventors of the world because they need people like you! With everything we've learnt this time around we can assure you that our Next Campaign will run much smoother, and we hope you will consider supporting us again!

We still cannot believe we've been nominated for this prestigious award! And on top of that we got to spend 4 glorious days building a Nimuno Loops wonderland in the Design Museum at the beginning of October!
